My wife wanted a tote that she would be able to: 1. Carry on her shoulder 2. House her heavy bulky-extended-battery laptop 3. Allow her to carry files 4. Allow her to carry her work out clothes and towel 5. Still look like a gurl
This tote fits the bill! It would easily house a normal sized laptop. Her's is a 15" T400 Thinkpad with a ginormous extended battery. The bag's straps are heavy duty and the material is very nice. Easy to keep clean and very refined looking. The inside is large enough to carry her work out clothes, towel and several other files and notepads. There are plenty of hidey holes for her to use for other items.
The kewlest thing is the laptop is encased in a padded envelop that folds out very easily so you can fly through TSA security with out pulling your laptop out of the bag. Very smart design. As someone who travels on business about 40 weeks per year, I loved the idea of a checkpoint-friendly computer bag. And this bag is checkpoint-friendly. However it is extremely poorly made. I understand it was not expensive, but I have used it for all of 2 weeks & it is already falling apart. Edges are fraying, seams are opening & the fabric is getting "pulls" in places. Also, could use more pockets & longer straps - a bit too short for over-the-shoulder, but too long for hand-carrying. Overall a huge disappointment.
